Ingredients

For the Kabobs
  • 1.5 lbs Beef sirloin steak cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 large Onion cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 large Red bell pepper cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 large Green bell pepper cut into 1-inch pieces
For the Marinade
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Equipment

  • Grill
  • Skewers
  • Large bowl

Method

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt. This is your marinade.
  2. Add the cubed steak, onion pieces, red bell pepper pieces, and green bell pepper pieces to the bowl with the marinade. Toss to coat everything evenly. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated steak and vegetable pieces onto skewers, alternating ingredients. You can soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes beforehand to prevent burning.
  5. Place the skewers on the preheated grill. Grill for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the steak is cooked to your desired doneness and the vegetables are tender and slightly charred.
  6. Remove the kabobs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve these steak kabobs with rice, a side salad, or your favorite grilled vegetables. You can also add other vegetables like cherry tomatoes or zucchini to the skewers.
