Smoky Chicken Skewers with Garlic Yogurt

Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Skewers
  • 1.5 lbs chicken breast cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
For the Garlic Yogurt Sauce
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, combine chicken pieces with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  2. Thread the chicken onto skewers.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the chicken skewers for 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through and lightly charred.
  5. While the chicken is grilling, prepare the garlic yogurt sauce. In a small bowl, mix together Greek yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped dill, and salt.
  6. Serve the smoky chicken skewers with the garlic yogurt sauce.

Notes

You can soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before use to prevent burning.
