Ingredients
  

For the Steak Bites
  • 1.5 lbs Sirloin steak cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil divided
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Salt or to taste
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper or to taste
For the Potatoes
  • 1.5 lbs Baby potatoes halved or quartered if large
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
Optional Garnish
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley chopped

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Cutting board
  • Knife

Method
 

  1. Toss the potatoes with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Pat the steak bites dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the potatoes to the skillet and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender and browned.
  5. Push the potatoes to one side of the skillet. Add the steak bites to the empty side and sear for 2-3 minutes per side, until browned.
  6. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant, stirring to combine with the steak and potatoes.
  7. Remove the skillet from heat. Let the steak rest for 10 minutes before serving.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.

Notes

You can adjust the cooking time for the potatoes and steak to your preference. For a crispier potato, you can roast them in the oven before adding them to the skillet.
