Ingredients

For the Pretzel Treats
  • 20 Pretzel squares
  • 1 cup Red candy melts
  • 1 cup White candy melts
  • 1 cup Blue candy melts
  • 1/4 cup Chocolate chips for drizzling, optional
  • 1 tsp Vegetable shortening if needed for thinning chocolate
  • 1 tbsp Sprinkles red, white, and blue

  4. Spoon or drizzle the melted red candy over the pretzel squares, covering them completely or partially as desired.
  5. Repeat the melting and coating process with the white and blue candy melts, alternating colors and patterns on different pretzels.
  6. If using chocolate chips for drizzling, melt them and drizzle over the coated pretzels. Immediately sprinkle with red, white, and blue sprinkles.
  7. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes, or until the candy coating is firm.
  8. Once set, carefully remove the pretzel treats from the parchment paper.

Notes

Store the pretzel treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
