- Prepare the BBQ pineapple glaze. In a small saucepan, combine pineapple juice, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until slightly thickened. Remove from heat.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Brush them with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Grill the chicken for 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- During the last 5 minutes of grilling, brush the chicken generously with the BBQ pineapple glaze. Continue to grill, turning once, until the glaze is caramelized.
- Remove chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
